December 26 is a well-known Boxing Day when people make surprises for relatives and friends. This unusual holiday originated in the UK. According to the tradition, on the day that follows Christmas, boxes of leftover food were packed and given to the poor. In this way children were to get accustomed to generosity and good deeds.
