“Communications Breakdown” – an Exhibition of Paintings by Olga Zaremba

The Art gallery Portal 11 has presented the art exhibition by Olga Zaremba titled “Communications Breakdown. The artist from the city of Dnipro combines painting, photography and video in one reality reflecting emotional dimension of the world.

While the entire world has been busy adapting to scientific and technological progress by changing the relationship between society and nature, the artist is trying to reflect the influence and serious consequences of this technical civilization.

In her paintings Olga Zaremba creates various visual worlds showing the ways in which human presence affects the natural environment. The artist’s paintings depict the cleared space, its emptiness and the world which seems to be transfixed to the spot.

In her work Olga uses spontaneous sketches, photos with emotions and everyday situations.

Nowadays Olga is studying at the Department of Monumental Painting of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture.

The artist’s works are kept at the Dnipro Museum of Ukrainian Painting as well as in private collections in Turkey, Great Britain, Ukraine, Germany and Russia.
